Tincker's first Beta is Out!!
Introduction
Finally, after 3 months of work, Tincker’s Beta, version 2.0.6, came out, with a lot of changes. A new visual, new mechanics, more optimized. It’s important to remember that I work alone in this project to 2 different platforms, Windows and Android, that’s why this update take a long time.
News
The main change definitely is the visual, that’s is to much better then the previous (that was a prototype), throughout this path note I will put some images that shows both versions, and you can see what changed.
In mechanics we had a lot of differences, Super like now had a new mechanic, where you need Hype to earn love, you earn Super Likes by liking normaly. Hype now had a maximum, you click to earn a percentage, and after a certain time you lose a percentage of hype. Boost its similar to old Super Like, where you can boost all love you earn in a time period and needs time to recharge.
Upgrades changed too, now we had 15 upgrades that affects different aspects, like Love, Hype, Match, Super Like and Boost, you can click on an upgrade to see the title and what its affect.
Reset, or Revive, it’s the replay factor, you can reset your game to earn Relove, and use this Relove to buy some others Upgrades, that’s 18, similar to upgrades. With a new scroll screen, and animated description, Revive gets totally recreated.
Achievements changed, now we have 59, when unlocked they have colors, and when locked they have only gray. To be easier to see, now you can scroll to the side to see all of them. In previous versions, Statistics and Achievements are together, now Statistics are currently disabled, to reformulate.
Settings menu changed, but not too much as the other screens, with only 2 modifications, now you can see a “Delete Save Game” button, that works at menu to delete old saves (Needed to play this new version), and the FPS button, to set FPS visible on screen.
All alert screens are now more detailed and with a new visual, with dark background, and more colorful.
Android
Previous versions of Tincker, already have an Android version, but now its on Google Play Store! As like I want to the game still free I have to put some Ads, not too much to not be annoying, and with some rewards, the classic double offline earning, or a random gift.
Bug Fixes
On previous versions we had some Save and Load Bugs, they are now fixed. As we had a bug that sets your game slow, that already fixed too.
Coming Soon
As the previous Dev Log, I want do tell a little more of what I want to do in Tincker. In the previous Dev Log, I said that I want to make the game less repetitive, putting minigames and random things, probably this will be the next thing to do. A tutorial, to help new people to understand the game is a thing, but it takes time to be good elaborated. New photos and Names, probably what makes the game repetitive, you see the same 5 faces and some 30 names, and maybe give more life to then, with things that them likes, fame, some bonus to find someone.
